Binoculars provided for bay viewing

I used the binoculars provided in my room to watch sea otters and seals playing in the water below my balcony. I finished my stay by eating breakfast outside at Schooners while I looked out over the bay. I also relaxed in the hot tub on the roof after a day near the aquarium.

Fireplace inside the oceanfront suite

Hot breakfast served on the room balcony

I ate my breakfast on the balcony of my room each morning after the staff delivered it at my requested time. I watched sea lions playing in the harbor from there while drinking coffee I brewed in the in-room maker. Bikes for riding the trail

I parked my car directly in front of my room to unpack, which saved me time. After checking in, I took a complimentary bike from the rack and spent my afternoon riding the bike trail. I also swam in the heated pool, which stayed open until ten in the evening. Later that night, I warmed up by the fireplace in my room.

Afternoon wine in the library

I met other guests for wine and hors d'oeuvres in the library each afternoon while enjoying the themed atmosphere. My room featured a view of Monterey Bay and I kept the windows open at night to let in a cool breeze. Wine and cheese in the living room

I sipped Silvestri wine and enjoyed local cheese during the daily four o'clock happy hour in the downstairs living room by the fireplace. After relaxing with snacks, I enjoyed homemade herb baked eggs for breakfast in the dining room with other guests. My room included a private electric fire which warmed the space while I rested after exploring the Monterey grounds.

Free parking right outside my door
